The M.A.R.S. Program strives to provide enriching opportunities for students after school. The Program runs a TK/K after school program at nearly all elementary school sites and strives to be open at all elementary school sites as soon as possible. This is in collaboration with the MCOE ASSETS program, which services 1st-6th grade students at most elementary sites. Peterson elementary serves TK-6th grade students through the M.A.R.S. Program.
In addition, M.A.R.S. has many community collaborations across the district. To provide even more opportunities to our students the M.A.R.S Program has partnered with Bali Tutoring, Playhouse Merced, ARTREE, and Boys and Girls Club of Merced. Many other community collaborations are in the works.
More information about our programming can be found in the navigation bar.
