Welcome Hoover Middle School Families, Students, and Community Members,
It is an honor to serve as Principal of Hoover Middle School. At Hoover we strive to build a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for our students. Students are provided with a rigorous standards based curriculum and a safe learning environment and we have high expectations for all students to develop both educationally and as responsible young adults.
Hoover’s behavioral expectations are based on the Hoover Husky P.A.C.K., which stands for Prepared, Accountable, Compassionate, and Knowledgeable. These attributes are the backbone of our positive behavior system and promote a positive and safe learning environment for all students.
Middle school is a wonderful time of growth for students as they prepare to become high school students and young adults. This time provides students with an opportunity to start preparing for what they want to do in the future as well as learning to become responsible students and citizens. Hoover students are provided with opportunities to grow in their leadership skills through school activities, clubs, and our Leadership programs. They are also afforded opportunities to begin exploring careers through their elective and core classes. Additionally, we prepare our students to become 21st Century learners through providing students opportunities to learn the essential skills for success in today’s world, such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration.
As principal, my door is always open and I welcome the opportunity to meet. We value the input of parents and encourage you to participate in our Parent-Teacher-School-Club (PTSC), School Site Council (SSC), or (ELAC/DELAC) English Learner Advisory Committees.
I look forward to a great year at Hoover Middle School!
