Congratulations to the winners of the MCSD spelling bees! Each grade level competed at Tenaya Middle School from November 6-9. They battled for hours, spelling words such as apocryphal, chiaroscuro, and somnolent. The top three finishers received trophies, and the two two from each grade at each school will go on to the county spelling bees hosted by the Merced County Office of Education in December.
